Great Portland Street in the West End of London connects the Marylebone Road with Euston Road and Oxford Street with Albany Street. This street was formed by the Dukes of Portland, who owned most of the eastern half of Marylebone in the 18th - 19th centuries. It was first names as John Street in 1726.
The street has its own uncommon style because of the unique combination of small shops combined with its strongly rectilinear character. Below you fill find our recommended spots to visit.
